LOCK REKEYING
We bring the shop to you. We take apart your locks, create a new key that is completely
different from your old key and put it all back together again. Of course, this service can also include designing
master key systems.
Do you know who has the keys to your house or business? Can you account for every key that
has ever been made? A re-key of your home or business is very affordable security insurance.
When to re-key your locks:
- You don't know how many keys have been made and you don't know where they all are.
- Key ring is lost or stolen.
- You have given one to a neighbor, family member or employee and it has not been returned.
- Employee turnover.
- New construction: If the contractor who built your house installed locks from a
big box store, these are typically factory keyed-alike
in groups. Other people in your town who have purchased locks from
that store have identical keys and could access your home.
- Manufactured homes: Most locks on a new manufactured home are factory keyed on a master key
system. The keys you get (usually 3 to 4 different keys, 1 for each lock) are nearly always
a part of a large master key system. This means that the company who sold you the home, their service employees, and their former
employees all have keys to your new home.

DEADBOLT INSTALLATION
- Metal Doors, Wood Doors, Fiberglass Doors – we can do it all. A deadbolt is perhaps
the most effective way to lock your house or business – especially if you use a Medeco
Deadbolt. It serves as a deterrent as well as physical security.
- BUYER BEWARE! Most brands of deadbolts that are sold through the hardware / big box
stores use a hollow bolt with plastic and pot metal parts! Stay away from those – if you're
going to go to the trouble of drilling your doors – do it right.
